SoftColor Toolbox is a lightweight batch-processing and server software for advanced color correction, image processing and color management.

SoftColor Toolbox operates with many digital image formats and with camera RAW formats. Toolbox can save processed images in JPEG, TIFF, PNG and PSD formats. With PSD-format Toolbox saves the original and improved images as separate layers inside single file. Toolbox handles ICC color profiles and you can convert and render between RGB and CMYK color spaces. You can operate with Toolbox in background server or batch process mode. It is operated by command-line interface and processing is based on INI-format configuration files.

Behind color correction automation is our in-house developed spectral illumination detection algorithm. This makes possible to learn a computer think colors like a human being. This gives you automatic and fully tweakable solution to fix color balance, exposure and contrast problems in your digital images.

For end user this means that all color balance, contrast and exposure problems can be fixed automatically.

A major benefit in SoftColor Toolbox is layer based processing. This gives to you full freedom adjust processing as you want. You can simple select which processing layers you want to use with your images. In color correction you easily can adjust correction intensity to get colors which feels good to you.

You can do all regular image processing task with SoftColor Toolbox. Resize or crop images to specific size. You can also Toolbox 2.2 has new features for rotating, flipping and straightening images. Toolbox has also filters for sharpness and unsharp masking.

SoftColor Toolbox includes support for standard ICC profile based color management. You can convert and render for example between RGB and CMYK color spaces and deal with many other color spaces. Toolbox version 2.2 has been updated to support v4 ICC profiles.

You can use color management with color correction and image processing or you can use toolbox only for color management.

Toolbox 2 uses SoftColor Engine which gives you full freedom to adjust automatic color correction, image processing and color management as you want. Layer based color correction gives you fast and flexible way to tune output colors as you like.

All parameters are stored to configuration files which uses simple INI format.

SoftColor Toolbox 2 can save output image in Photoshop® document format (.psd). With this feature original and improved are stored in same output file as layers.

Background is an original image and layer 1 is improved image.

Toolbox 2 includes lightweight tools for processing images on your file or content management server. You can use totally automatic processing on background or you can include manual file and folder tools with your export functions.

SoftColor Toolbox includes utility program softcolor4folder.exe. It process all supported file formats in input directory and saves files to output directory. This software is easy to integrate with your systems export functions.

Toolbox also includes utility program directoryserver.exe. It is on the background running version of softcolor4folder.exe. It starts running on the background and checks input directory for new files to process

SoftColor Toolbox 2 is tiny collection of tools which you can easily wrap with your software projects. In the best case you only need one line code to get color correction, image processing and color management to your software.
